Tap the Safe ("we," "our," or "the app") is a casual puzzle game operated by Shissou. This policy explains the information handled when you play.
Information handled
- Anonymous player identifier: Firebase creates an anonymous ID so the app can submit scores and operate shared leaderboards without requiring an email address or social login.
- Public game profile: the app assigns a generated vault alias. Your alias, selected cosmetic, score, rank, and relevant challenge statistics may be visible to other players.
- Gameplay and device data: progress, attempts, completion times, streaks, rewards, settings, app version, device/OS details, and limited security or diagnostic events needed to operate and protect the game.
- Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat process the Premium purchase and its entitlement. We receive product and entitlement status, not your payment-card details.
- Advertising: optional rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may process device, consent, ad-interaction, diagnostic, measurement, security, and fraud-prevention information. Where required, Google's privacy message presents available choices before ads are requested.
- Support: if you email us, we receive the address and content you choose to send.
How information is used
We use information to run the game and shared leaderboards, restore purchases, grant benefits, deliver optional rewarded ads, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and improve reliability and balance.
Service providers
Information is processed by providers needed to operate the app, including Apple, Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Expo/EAS, and Cloudflare. Their handling is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.
Leaderboards and social safety
Your generated alias, cosmetic, and score may be visible to other players. The app does not require or invite a real name. Players can report a human player and hide that player locally. Computer-controlled Rival Crew entries are labeled.
Retention and deletion
Local gameplay data remains until you reset progress or remove the app. Online data is retained while needed to provide and protect the service. You can request deletion at support@tapthesafe.app. Include your generated alias and anonymous player ID if available.
Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Deleting game data does not erase Apple's transaction record or remove your ability to restore an eligible purchase.
Children
Tap the Safe is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may decline rewarded ads, revisit available ad privacy choices from Settings, use the generated alias, hide or report players, reset local progress, and request deletion of online game data.
Security, changes, and contact
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Policy updates will appear here with a revised date. Questions and privacy requests: support@tapthesafe.app.
